The Impact of Large-Scale New Energy Generation Integration into the Power System on Real-Time Electricity Spot Market Clearing and Electricity Market Pricing

In recent years, the installed capacity of new energy generation in the power system has been increasing with the rise of low-carbon economy. The significant integration of new energy generation has a significant impact on the real-time electricity spot market clearing and electricity market pricing. In response to this issue, a real-time electricity market clearance model has been established in this paper. And based on the operation data of a power grid, the impact of large-scale new energy generation integration into the power system on real-time electricity spot market clearing and electricity market pricing has been analyzed. The results show that as the proportion of total new energy generation to system load increases, the clearing price of the real-time electricity spot market is determined by the quotation of new energy generation.
