摘要

The hot-spot test is a crucial assessment component within the IEC 61215-2 standard. It primarily assesses the thermal state of a photovoltaic module when subjected to reverse bias conditions. When a photovoltaic module is reverse biased, the PV cell is prone to overheating and triggering to localized anomalies, which ultimately leads to a reduction in PV conversion efficiency and visual defects. In this paper, two types of PV module types (HJT and Perc) were selected, and hot-spot tests were carried out under three connecting modes with short-circuit, open-circuit and load to analyze the I-V curves, series resistance with the aid of flashing simulator and electroluminescence camera. And also the photovoltaic module heat generation distribution temperature and irradiance of the light source were checked, that the results indicated the light source of the device complies with the standard qualification requirements. The conclusion drawn in this article is reliable.
