This paper reports the experimental results for development of Geopolymer High Strength Concrete (GHSC) considering characteristic compressive strength more than 65 N/mm2 at one day (24 h) oven heat curing period as per mix proportioning procedure is developed. The important parameters like alkaline/binder (AL/B) ratio, molarity of alkaline solution, curing temperature, type of binder and gradation of coarse aggregates plays an important role in the development of Geopolymer High Strength Concrete. Effect of various processed industrial wastes like fly ash (FA), ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) were used for development of Geopolymer High Strength Concrete in the present investigation. Design mixes of FA:GGBS as combinations are 100:0, 0:100 and 50:50 in percentages were prepared as per the mix proportioning developed and tested for compressive strength after 3, 8 and 24 h oven heat curing period at 90 °C. The results showed that compressive strength obtained with FA based GHSC gives lesser strength as compared with design mixes with GGBS alone and with combinations of FA and GGBS.

摘要
