Structural Performance of LGS and Ferrocement Composite Element
摘要
It has been observed that people cannot buy the house due to the high construction costs and house prices are increasing day by day. A new material should be created, consisting of reinforced concrete and light steel (LGS) profiles. This is necessary for the construction of affordable housing for low-income groups and middle-income people in urban and rural areas. This study is about LGS and reinforced concrete researches. In this experimental study, M 25 quality concrete was used together with light steel profiles and additional cement. Compressive strength, bending strength and splitting tensile strength were tested. With regression analysis, the relationship between compressive strength and bending strength, compressive strength and splitting tensile strength is obtained. The results show that the steel cement and LGS composite structure can save 35% in cost compared to the frame structure.
