Digitally Inclusive Finance and Financial Behavior of Millennials: An Interplay of Knowledge Skills and Attitude

The significance of comprehending the influence of digital financial literacy (DFL) on the financial conduct of millennial has substantially expanded during an era marked by swift technological progress and digitalization. Despite the wide availability of digital financial services (DFS), millennial often face challenges while trying to effectively navigate the digital financial landscape. It becomes imperative to evaluate the relationship between use of financial instruments and the usage of fintech applications. The aim of the chapter is to explore the influence of Digital Financial Literacy on the Financial Behaviour of millennials, particularly regarding the way this knowledge influences their financial decisions. By incorporating gaps from recent research in the fields of digital literacy, digital education, digital skills, and digital experience, this chapter tries to determine the level of financial literacy among the Indian millennials and understand the co-relation of knowledge, attitude, skills with their financial behaviour.Primary data was used to measure financial knowledge with results grouped into 3 categories: low, moderate and high.
