Borophene, a 2D form of boron, has attracted much interest because of its outstanding physical, chemical, and electrical characteristics, making it a very promising material for future technological progress. This chapter explores the possible progress and development of borophene, with a specific focus on its synthesis, characteristics, and uses. We investigate novel manufacturing methods that address existing obstacles in synthesis, such as the production of extensive and top-notch borophene sheets. The discussion encompasses the incorporation of borophene into advanced electronics, energy storage devices, and sensors, emphasizing its exceptional conductivity, flexibility, and large surface area.
