A Secure Storage of Watermarked Images and Encrypted Data in a Blockchain-Based Healthcare Platform

摘要

Healthcare management systems are indispensable in the electronic era due to their multifaceted contributions. These systems optimize healthcare delivery by streamlining administrative tasks, ensuring precision in record-keeping, and fostering efficient communication among healthcare providers. In this paper, we propose a comprehensive method that combines blockchain technology with image encryption and fingerprint watermarking to improve healthcare data management. The approach uses image encryption for strong medical picture protection and fingerprint watermarking to guarantee data authenticity in a blockchain platform. The objective of our proposed model is to establish a decentralized storage system featuring secure data interchange through the seamless integration of IPFS and blockchain technology. Our framework incorporates a consensus algorithm to mitigate the entry of illegitimate records. The proposed model is deployed in a test environment, and experiments are undertaken to evaluate its performance. The findings demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach in ensuring the security of watermarked images and safeguarding the network against potential malicious attacks.
