Visualizing Insights to Empower HR Decision-Making: A Data-Driven Approach

In today’s popular visual media culture, the adage “a picture is worth a thousand words” has never been more important. In the world of commerce, there is now a widespread use of audiovisual communication in education, media, entertainment, art, and many other areas. Companies recognize the immense potential for data visualization, particularly as it relates to discovering insights and communicating more effectively with interested parties. The vast benefits of data visualization are being seen in particular by human resources (HR) teams. A large number of data, such as employee numbers, pay information, evaluation scores, feedback, surveys, email responses, and performance reviews, are available to human resources. Fortunately, organizations have been able to store, model, and transform their HR data into meaningful visual insights. In this study, we try to paint a picture of how data visualization in human resources can help people make faster and more accurate decisions based on context insight, better collaboration with other departments for the development of effective HR resources and programs as well as efficient workforce planning using information from across the enterprise.
