Fuzzy-Based Inertia Control of Microgrid for Frequency Stabilization
摘要
The increasing use of dispersed generators and renewable energy sources is causing stability issues in power systems. To ensure flexible operation, the synthesis and management of microgrid inertia is crucial. This research reviews the low-inertia problem in the microgrid with a significant share of renewable energy, reviews virtual inertia emulation, and introduces the basics of designing and regulating virtual inertia strategy-based power system controls. A fuzzy logic-related simulated virtual inertia control system is suggested for stable load frequency regulation in low-inertia microgrids. An arithmetic optimization technique is used to tune controller parameters. The control technique is compared with standard control and without virtual inertia control to address frequency instability and adaptive inertia control.
