On the Pulse of Traffic: A Review of Service-Centric Heterogeneous Vehicular Network Modeling
摘要
In this comprehensive review paper, we explored the transformative backdrop of service-centric heterogeneous vehicular network. Our scrutiny envelops different essential factors including VANETs and their applications, integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence for improved vehicular environment, network capacity, coverage considerations, security protocols and the delicate context of continuous handoff. This synthesis sheds light on predicaments and progressions, spotlighting the pivotal contribution of modern technical paradigms in refining the connectivity of networks. We examine several current methodologies addressing core security threats, network optimization and uninterrupted delivery of services. With an emphasis on the critical role of security in the face of escalating cyber threats, we bring attention to frequently neglected dimensions concerning authentication and integrity of data. By thoroughly inspecting scholarly works and staying abreast of evolving trends, this review aims to provide valuable insights into enhancing the capability and trustability of all possible communications within a network range of automobiles.
