摘要

Transformational and sustainable leadership has effects on the commitment and well-being of employees. The objective of this research is to learn about the experiences of transformational and sustainable leadership from managers of textile companies in Lima. Based on a qualitative approach, through a thematic analysis design, six managers participated in a semi-structured interview, 4 of them were men and 2 women, and their ages ranged from 38 to 55 years old. Among the results, four major themes were found: individualized leadership, which is divided into courteous exchange and workers appreciation; inspirational stimulus, learning based on mistakes and experiences; finally, exemplary authority. In conclusion, transformational and sustainable leadership emphasizes individual support, motivational catalyst, learning from mistakes, and fostering emotional connections for shared goals and skill development. This will ensure that workers share the same vision, fostering commitment and the quality of the working environment, favoring social sustainability, and thus contributing to the goals of sustainable development.
