摘要
This research aims to show successful cases, in the Colombian textile sector, of the implementation of different strategies in the fields of manufacturing sustainability and manufacturing for sustainability, both as expressions of sustainable manufacturing and their impact on the commitments of this industrial sector in the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); particularly with SDG 8; SDG 9, and SDG 12. The methodology used corresponds to a critical evaluation circumscribed in qualitative research. In which a unit of analysis is taken constituted by those industries of the textile sector, and, from this, a work unit is extracted, made up of five (5) companies of the Colombian textile manufacturing sector that have implemented sustainable manufacturing strategies and have had results that allow them to be characterised as successful. For the proper development of this type of research, the study is conducted in three (3) stages, which include establishing a context for the textile manufacturing sector in Colombia. Subsequently, based on the work unit, the sustainable manufacturing strategies implemented in these are identified and how they impact the different SDGs. Finally, the final phase, which is the critical evaluation of the sustainable manufacturing strategies implemented by companies in the textile manufacturing sector. As a result, it was found that the sustainable manufacturing strategies applied by the identified companies can be highlighted as successful experiences, as they have positively impacted the selected SDGs, bringing this sector closer to fulfilling global commitments in this field.
