Competitiveness of Decent Work of the US Textile Sector Using a Multivariable Classification of the SDG 8 Target 5: Full Employment and Decent Work

The Sustainable Development Goal 8 addresses to the need for economic development that contributes to the overall well-being of society by promoting economic progress capable to generate sustainable employment opportunities without compromising the environment, assuring labor rights and identifying and eradicating modern slavery and child labor. This SDG is related to the promotion of sustained and inclusive economic growth by providing full and productive employment as well as decent work. To address that subject, this research work uses a machine learning model by supervised learning to analyze quantitative data related to labor statistics, with an artificial neural network to analyze the data related to a multi-categorical variable of decent work competitiveness in the textile industry of United States.
