This abstract explores the complex interactions between microbes and cancer, explaining how important a role they play in the growth of tumors and the development of therapeutic approaches. The microbiome of humans is a heterogeneous community of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and other microorganisms that live in different bodily niches and have a substantial impact on host physiology, immunological responses, and general health. The influence of microbiota on cancer onset, progression, and therapy response has been highlighted by recent investigations. Investigating the mechanics behind these occurrences, scientists have discovered microbial fingerprints linked to particular cancer types, emphasizing possible biomarkers for diagnosis. Furthermore, complex interactions between the immune system and the microbiome highlight the microbiota’s modulatory function in immune responses against tumors. Comprehending these dynamics opens up new directions for cancer treatments, and probiotics and fecal microbiota transplantation are examples of microbial interventions that may be used in addition to traditional treatments.
