Pareto Efficient-Based Optimization for Solar Photovoltaic Installation by Considering Individual User Activity Profile and Local Solar Generation Pattern
摘要
An essential consideration for individual users considering solar photovoltaic (PV) systems is determining the optimal number of panels to install to achieve maximum economic return. The challenge lies in balancing initial capital investment with long-term savings from reduced energy bills and potential revenue from excess electricity generation fed back into the grid. In this paper, we present a Pareto optimization-based method designed to enhance the economic returns of individual customers by choosing more suitable plans. Our approach is designed to adapt to individual activity profiles and local energy generation patterns, making it a versatile method for optimizing solar photovoltaic systems. With the demonstrated workflow on experimental data, our method found out better solar photovoltaic installation plans to enhance the cost-effectiveness of renewable energy solutions, thereby promoting sustainable and economic viability for consumers.
