Design and Development of a Home Health Monitoring System Based on Wearable Devices
摘要
With the improvement of technology and economic growth, the development of medical equipment and drugs has led to a general increase in people's lifespan. From the current social situation, society is tending towards aging, and the problems faced by the elderly are chronic diseases such as limited mobility, hypertension, and heart disease. Cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases are becoming more common, characterized by rapid onset and a short rescue period. Mild cases can cause paralysis in the elderly, and severe cases can directly take their lives. Therefore, the physical health of the elderly needs to be taken seriously. This article collects physiological parameters such as pulse, blood pressure, heart rate, and body temperature of elderly people through wearable devices. By collecting these data, physical abnormalities of the elderly can be detected in a timely manner, avoiding missing the best rescue time due to the rapid onset of the disease. The data is transmitted to the mobile application through communication devices and automatically alarms when physiological parameters are abnormal. The system has played a good role in elderly health monitoring and has been proven to have good application scenarios in health monitoring through practical testing.
