摘要

In recent years, the research of low-orbit satellites has become a high-profile and rapidly developing research direction. The commonly used bands of low-orbit satellites are Ku and Ka. The research on Ku-band has become mature. This paper introduces the design of a Ka-band up and down conversion module. The up and down conversion modules use different local oscillator frequencies. Ka-band up-conversion module: The input frequency signal of the module is 1200 MHz ± 3.5 MHz, and the 1200 MHz frequency signal outputs the Ka frequency signal after one frequency conversion. The Ka frequency signal is 17.7 GHz–20.2 GHz. Ka-band down-conversion module: The input frequency signal of the module is 27.5 GHz–30 GHz, and the 27.5 GHz–30 GHz frequency signal outputs an L-frequency signal after one frequency conversion. The L-frequency signal is 1200 MHz ± 3.5 MHz. The up-down converter module has excellent temperature stability and can work at −25 ℃ to +65 ℃. Through the optimization design, the completed Ka-band up and down conversion module meets the engineering needs.
