Simulated Electro-Optical Target Tracking Servo Control Method and System
摘要
Target tracking is essential in the simulation training system of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). This paper proposes an Electro-optical servo target tracking simulation method and system based on the transformation relationship between viewpoint coordinates and world coordinates. The system calculates the tracking control according to the target miss on the image taken by the simulated camera, and the Electro-optical servomechanism controls the azimuth and pitch channel of the simulated turntable according to the tracking control so that the simulated camera is always aligned with the target and the target is in the centre of the screen. The results show that the system has low cost, high efficiency, simulation results close to the actual situation, and can meet the training requirements of task operators for target tracking.
