Fault Treatment and Preventive Measures for the Switch Transmission Mechanism of a 66 kV Capacitor

At this stage, high-voltage shunt capacitors have been widely used in power systems. On the one hand, they can effectively improve the power of the grid, and on the other hand, they can ensure that the voltage quality of the grid is greatly improved. This shows that the safe operation of the high-voltage capacitors plays an important role. The analysis in this paper is of great significance to reducing the failure of the switch transmission mechanism of the reactive power compensation capacitor and improving the safety and stability of the power system. Relevant data were obtained through the investigation and analysis of the substation where the failure of the switch transmission mechanism of the reactive power compensation capacitor occurs. According to the research and analysis of the reasons for the failure of the switch transmission mechanism of the capacitor, reasonable and effective improvement measures are put forward herein.
