Neo-Evolutionism

During the 1930s and 1940s, when the culture and personality school of thought in American anthropology was at its full swing, a new school of thought in anthropology was underway with Marxian influence, initially, founded by the famous Australian archaeologist and philologist, V. Gordon Childe; and later, developed by Julian Steward and Leslie White.
