Introduction to the Cardiac CT Imaging Workstation

Isovolumetric image acquisition opens vast opportunities for image display which is fully realized on dedicated workstations, including three-dimensional rendering. Although individual features and organization are found on different proprietary platforms, there is a common approach to display and analyze images. This chapter will provide a general overview of cardiac CT display and analysis using dedicated imaging workstations.
