This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the medicinal and nutritional importance of saffron in human health. Beginning with an introduction to Crocus sativus, including its botanical overview and historical significance, the objective of this chapter is to explore the chemical composition, medicinal properties, and modern applications of saffron.
