Antibiotic Pharmacology and Biopharmaceutics
摘要
Pharmacology is the branch of medicine pertaining to the uses, effects, and modes of action of drugs. Biopharmaceutics explores the association between the characteristics and magnitude of biological effects observed in both animals and humans. This chapter discusses pharmacological drug target systems, biopharmaceutics classification systems, and the pharmaceutics of all antibiotics previously covered in this book, from penicillin to mycolic acid inhibitors. Case studies are also provided where appropriate.
