Practice of Risk Management on Viral Hepatitis
摘要
Viral hepatitis is a group of infectious diseases characterized by liver damage, caused by different hepatitis viruses. They are highly infectious and prevalent worldwide, with complex modes of transmission and high rates of infection. Depending on the pathogen, viral hepatitis primarily includes Hepatitis A, B, C, D, and E, caused by HAV, HBV, HCV, HDV, and HEV respectively. Understanding the epidemiological patterns of viral hepatitis and taking effective prevention and control measures to curb its global prevalence and eliminate the public health threat it poses is one of the tasks to achieve the United Nations’ sustainable development goals (SDGs). This chapter will thus mainly focus on the prevention and control of Hepatitis B as an example, aligning with the key areas of focus in the current global prevention and control strategy.
