摘要

Future wireless systems anticipate supporting high data rates of one gigabit per second or higher in a range of applications. The use of multiple input multiple output (MIMO) methods, such as the Module for 4.8 GHz (6825–7875 MHz) with access point RF frequency range of SU-MIMO 4 × 4 MIMO transmission, which uses spatial diversity, array gain, or spatial multiplexing gain, is a critical technology for achieving the required high spectral efficiency. These frequencies are part of the fifth-generation (5G) mobile network architecture, which uses 4 × 4 MIMO antennas for interior propagation to increase network capacity and coverage. A state-of-the-art wireless communication system might use this as a broadband base station. The 4 × 4 MIMO antenna configurations of the deployed networks were simulated for network coverage and throughput performance using the link planner. The average simulated throughput per sector of the 4 × 4 MIMO arrangement is higher than that of the 2 × 2 MIMO setup.
