摘要

Modern engineering applications often require precise and real-time monitoring of structural strain for ensuring safety and optimal performance. Traditional strain measurement methods involve complex and expensive instrumentation, limiting their widespread implementation, especially in resource-constrained environments. This project introduces a novel approach to strain measurement utilizing low-cost sensors and wireless communication technology. The proposed system employs strain sensors with cost-effective materials and designs, making it accessible for a wide range of applications. These sensors are wirelessly connected to a central monitoring system, allowing for remote and continuous strain monitoring. The wireless communication enables real-time data acquisition, facilitating rapid response to structural changes and potential issues. Key features include the development of an efficient wireless communication protocol, ensuring reliable data transmission over extended distances. The integration of low-cost sensors with wireless connectivity aims to democratize structural health monitoring, making it affordable and adaptable for various industries, including civil engineering, aerospace, and manufacturing. The project not only addresses the cost barriers associated with traditional strain measurement methods but also opens avenues for scalability and ease of deployment. The implementation of this low-cost wireless strain measurement system promises to revolutionize structural monitoring practices, promoting safety, and efficiency in diverse engineering applications.
