Design of a Context-Aware Healthcare Business Process Model Offering an Extension Strategy in BPMN

A complex healthcare business process needs adaptability due to the context’s profound influence. The contextual information states the basic semantics that underpin the logic of the process. Thus, the need to incorporate context sensitivity into the modeling process itself is one of the problems with a healthcare business process model. The most-used tool in this field is BPMN. Context awareness cannot be sufficiently described by any process modeling language, including BPMN, EPC, and UML. The goal of this study is to offer a way to add context awareness to a model of the healthcare business process. A graphical context model that adds new constructs to the existing BPMN has been offered as a solution to this problem. The process as described unquestionably provides the requisite maintainability, adaptability, and comprehensibility.
