Feedback on Control Path: Early Congestion Feedback

We introduce Zhuge, a novel approach to reducing tail latency in wireless networks by minimizing the control loop for congestion feedback. Wireless networks often suffer from transient congestion due to sudden drops in available bandwidth, causing high end-to-end latency. Existing solutions are limited by the delayed feedback loop inherent in current network designs. Zhuge addresses this by decoupling the control loop from the congested path, allowing quicker reaction to bandwidth fluctuations. It features a Fortune Teller module that predicts packet delays and a Feedback Updater that modifies upstream packets, ensuring consistent low latency without requiring modifications to the sender or receiver.
