Research on Nutation Coupling Technology in Near Ground Laser Communication

This article proposes a method to reduce the loss of space laser communication links, based on the mutual nutation coupling algorithm of space light to fiber coupling, to improve coupling efficiency. On the basis of coupling theory, we designed a pair of near-Earth laser communication optical transceiver with a communication aperture of 50mm. We verified the mutual nutation coupling calculation method under a 1km space link near the ground, and conducted communication performance testing on a 10Gbps link. Experiments have shown that this algorithm can further improve coupling efficiency and reduce spatial communication link losses on the basis of tracking.
