Design and Implementation of a Light and Small Space-Borne Laser

摘要

Aiming at the special requirement of space-borne laser application, a design scheme and realization method of light and small size Nd: YAG solid-state laser are presented. In this method, the flexible support scheme is adopted to isolate the external factors such as forced displacement, assembly stress, thermo-elastic deformation and the influence of laser opto-mechanical. Considering the factors of structural mechanical stability, thermal stability and lightweight, the design scheme is analyzed and calculated by using Hyperworks software, the simulation results show that the effect of 92% forced displacement and 89% thermo-elastic deformation on the relative position of the optical element is removed. In addition, the laser adopts the fully-sealed design scheme to realize the pollution control of the sensitive device, and the leakage rate of the whole machine is less than 1 × 10 e-8 pa·m3/s. Finally, the design of the space-borne laser has been finished. The energy of the single pulse is more than 30 mJ, the repetition rate is 10 Hz, and the weight of the space-borne laser is less than 400 g.
