Virtual reality technology is adopted in agriculture to increase productivity. With rising hi-tech, the farmers need to adopt the technology. This leads to a research question. What factors drive farmers to adopt virtual reality technology in agriculture? The study aims to build a model for drivers of adopting virtual reality technology in agriculture. The study has adopted a qualitative approach to derive the drivers for adopting virtual reality technology and the linkages between them. The model has been developed using total interpretive structural modeling (TISM). The study explores drivers like collective action drive virtual reality technology adoption, capacity building, technical skills, compatibility with technology, willingness to technology adoption, cropping pattern, financial infrastructure, institutional role, accessibility, democratizing trust, awareness among stakeholders, and ease of use that led to the technology adoption. These drivers have been linked using driving and dependent power. The study has a unique contribution to bringing a change in agriculture through the adoption of technology.
