摘要

Due to its magnitude and pervasiveness, crime prevention is an essential responsibility. The ability to accurately foresee crime is crucial for effectively planning police operations and enforcing laws meant to keep communities safe. India was placed 64 out of 193 nations in the Global Organized Crime Index, with a criminality score of 5.53 and a resilience score of 5.25. This study examines the application of machine learning algorithms to forecast crime in a specific geographical region. Within this approach, we utilize the geographical coordinates of latitude and longitude to visually represent the area on the screen, enhancing user convenience in identifying and comparing regions with higher crime rates. Our approach allows for the calculation of crime likelihood in each location, and the visualization of crime risk. In due course, it would have a significant influence on the security of society and reduce the crime rate. We prioritize examining the crime variables specific to each district, rather than delving into the underlying causes of crime, such as criminal histories and political animosity.
