摘要

Intersection movement assist (IMA) in vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication using dedicated short-range communication (DSRC) technology is a pivotal development aimed at significantly enhancing safety and efficiency at intersections. Standardization and integration are emphasized as crucial components for the successful implementation of IMA in V2V communication. The adoption of standardized communication protocols using DSRC ensures a uniform and interoperable system across diverse vehicles, infrastructure, and traffic management components. This instantaneous data exchange allows vehicles to anticipate and respond to each other's actions, thus minimizing collision risks and improving overall intersection safety.
