A Pseudo-Based Online Examination System
摘要
The problem of designing an efficient and robust proctored-based online examination system has become an emergent need to conduct examinations through online mode. This paper presents a pseudo-based online examination system (PBOES). It shortens the gap between automatic proctoring and the physical presence of invigilators in online examinations. It is formed to be robust against malpractice activities like minimizing, maximizing, copy/paste, screen capturing, screen switching, remote access, etc. It also resolves infrastructural problems, the compatibility of electronic components. Further, the most important problem of designing an efficient and robust proctored-based online examination system has become an emergent need to conduct examinations through online mode. Further, most importantly it can handle the issues like security and privacy on the provided tool. The system has been tested on the platform of a 2 h examination for 2150 students in a university. The results reveal the efficiency of the system.
