Engineering students face unique challenges throughout their academic journey, encompassing rigorous coursework, project deadlines, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Yet, the awareness of their mental state remains a topic often overlooked. The prevalence of mental health issues among engineering students, coupled with the complex interplay of academic pressures, lifestyle factors, and career concerns, highlights the urgent need for a comprehensive understanding of their experiences. Without adequate support systems and interventions in place, students may struggle to cope with stress, leading to negative impacts on their well-being, academic performance, and prospects. Addressing mental health issues proactively and comprehensively aims to empower engineering students to thrive academically and in their lives beyond the classroom. In essence, this initiative represents a holistic approach to supporting the mental health needs of engineering students. It holds the potential to make a profound impact on their academic journeys and their overall quality of life. Addressing these challenges requires a multifaceted approach that encompasses data collection, analysis, and the development of targeted interventions tailored to the unique needs of engineering students. Addressing the problem involves collecting data on engineering students’ mental health and academic experiences, analyzing it to uncover insights, and developing tailored interventions. Implementation within educational institutions, followed by continuous evaluation and potential scaling, ensures effective support for student’s well-being and academic success. Using the Random Forest regressor algorithm, we aim to effectively assess students’ mental states by analyzing questionnaire responses.
