2-Way Hand Sign Talk System
摘要
This research introduces a pioneering technology aimed at fostering bidirectional communication between the hearing and hearing-impaired communities. The proposed system employs a real-time two-way sign language translator capable of translating spoken language into sign language and vice versa. The framework leverages Python's OpenCV library for video frame processing and CNN for feature extraction, segmentation, learning complex patterns, etc. We have used CNN for its optimized speed and efficiency and parallel processing. The envisaged impact includes improved integration of hearing-impaired individuals into mainstream educational settings, thereby enhancing educational accessibility and affordability.
