Adopting ChatGPT in Education: An UTAUT2-Based Study on the Factors Influencing Indian Graduate Student’s Behavioral Intentions
摘要
AI technology has been steadily evolving and becoming increasingly prevalent in various areas of our lives. A notable development in this field is ChatGPT, a chatbot created by OpenAI that utilizes conversational AI. ChatGPT has garnered widespread attention from people worldwide as a highly advanced application. To understand the adoption of this technology, we utilized UTAUT2 as the model to include variables from self-efficacy theory and innovation and diffusion theory. The respondents were Indian graduate students residing in distant areas. The hypothesized relationships were tested using PLS-SEM and found that the predictors such as mobile self-expectancy, effort expectancy, performance expectancy, personal innovativeness, and habit would strongly determine the intention to use ChatGPT among students.
