Comprehensive Blockchain, AI-Based Web Framework for Digital Health Record Management System

In advancing the healthcare sector, Digital Health Record Management Systems (DHRMS) act as a repository of an individual’s records. Despite the features embedded in the currently available DHRMS, potential users often hesitate to entrust their vital health information due to concerns about inadequate security measures. Additionally, the majority of the DHRMS are patient-centric. This limitation becomes particularly evident in emergency medical situations, where quick and reliable access to comprehensive health records is important. This paper proposes a solution by providing a decentralized secured web framework that ensures the confidentiality and integrity of health records. Furthermore, the Involvement of patients, physicians, and government bodies assures accessibility of emergency health records in any critical situation. To achieve the proposed solution, we use blockchain as a decentralized ledger and face and biometric recognition to make the data accessible. Due to its automatic learning hierarchical feature capabilities, Convolution Neural Network (CNN) is used for face recognition.
