Pluronic F-127 hydrogel-based alumina inks and alumina inks with Pluronic F-127 and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) as additives were prepared, and their rheological properties were studied. The viscosity of the alumina inks with PVA as an additive was higher compared to the alumina inks made with only Pluronic F-127 hydrogel. The gelation transition temperature decreased with PVA as an additive compared to the inks made with Pluronic F-127 hydrogel. The addition of polyvinyl alcohol showed an increase in flow stress. Significant elastic behavior of alumina inks is observed from the blended hydrogel. 3ITT tests showed that the recovery of the alumina ink blended with 4 wt% Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) is higher at 84% compared to the alumina ink made with Pluronic F127 and alumina which showed 64% recovery.
