European Framework Strategies for Climate Change
摘要
This chapter presents a comparative analysis of the European Union’s climate change adaptation (EU Adapt) and mitigation (EU ETS) strategies. The overall aim is to elucidate their respective objectives, methodologies, implementation approaches, and outcomes in addressing climate change challenges within the European context. It provides a detailed analysis of how these strategies differ in their focus on adaptation (EU Adapt) and mitigation (EU ETS), their alignment with international agreements like the Kyoto Protocol, their involvement of stakeholders, their economic instruments, and their overall effectiveness in achieving their climate-related goals.
