Carbon Utilization

With the gradual advancement of carbon neutrality in the world, there is a tendency for many countries to “turn pale at the mention of carbon” and “be opposed to carbon issues”. However, the core issue that causes the global greenhouse effect and environmental degradation lies in the release of CO2 from the massive burning of fossil energy, not all CO2, and definitely not “CARBON” itself. In fact, carbon is one of the most common elements in nature and the core element that makes up all kinds of life on Earth, and is closely related to national economic development and human social progress. People need to develop a positive understanding of carbon and “maintain” carbon resources in a clean way through scientific and technological innovation to achieve the goal of “making more profits from carbon”. The utilization of carbon is divided into three major directions: geological utilization, chemical utilization, and biological utilization, which are related to the current technology and application status of CO2 value-added utilization, as well as related academic frontier development.
