Geospatial Position of Elements of Coastal Marine Wetland Geosystems (Carbon Landfill, Sakhalin Island)

A digital morphometric model of a coastal marine wetland polygon within the cryptolagoon of Salmon Bay, Aniva Bay is presented. The elevation model is derived from a combination of laser airborne marshland survey and field GNSS RTK survey of the drying area. The distribution of plant communities and their productivity by hypsometric levels in a system of periodic sea level changes and surges is considered. Possibilities of application of the results in the technological scheme of carbon sequestration by managed coastal wetlands of the Sakhalin region are shown.
