Neural Network Modeling as a Tool for Analyzing the Actual Development of Wood Resources in Forest Planning
摘要
The work considers a fundamentally new approach to the analysis of the actual development of wood resources. This approach consists of using an artificial neural network as a tool for predicting the volume of harvesting of forest resources in the territory under consideration. The work provides a complete mathematical description of the artificial neural network for predicting the actual volume of timber harvesting, substantiates the methodology for developing the architecture of the artificial neural network, and selects forest indicators used as a natural basis for the input signals of the neural network model.
