摘要

Models of measurement are generally based on the type of action of the error components, assumptions about their variability, and the shape of their distribution. The basic types of measurement models, including their identification, characterization, and description, are broadly investigated. Additive and multiplicative measurement models are discussed in detail. This chapter also discusses suitable statistical analysis of the individual models of measurement.
