Basics of Metrology
摘要
Metrology is closely connected with the philosophy of science and the nature of measurement errors. This chapter contains basic information about the principles of general metrology, the statistical characteristics of measuring instruments, and the different components of measurement errors. The analysis of measurement results based on various typical metrological characteristics is explained using a rigorous statistical approach.
