Representative Results of SCG Based on Third-Order Nonlinearity
摘要
The dynamic mechanism of the SCG stimulated by fs input pulse is dominant for spectral broadening in most literatures. This chapter will review the representative SCG works based on fs pulses in the integrated waveguides. The experimental results of SC generated in different integrated materials are introduced, and the corresponding SC bandwidth is further compared. The representative pumping methods and the corresponding spectral covering range are displayed, which provide references for better SCG. The reports of SCG process could be classified into three types in terms of dispersion characteristics, including convex anomalous dispersion (Type I), all-normal dispersion (Type II), and dispersion with multiple ZDWs (Type III). The mechanisms of SCG are different according to the dispersion types. We analyze the representative reports of integrated optical SCG in details, and categorize the mechanisms of the spectral broadening.
