Techniques for Managing Impacted Canine
摘要
The chapter explores the causes, prevalence, and management of impacted canines in the maxilla and mandible, focusing on two primary management techniques. The first involves extracting the impacted tooth and then closing the space to achieve proper occlusion. The second, known as the forced eruption technique, entails attaching an orthodontic button to the crown of the impacted canine and guiding it into a normal occlusal position. The chapter provides an in-depth examination of these techniques, supplemented by clinical case studies.
