Vascular Complication II: Recent Perspectives on Ocular Complications and Treatment Methods

One of the major adverse effects of fillers is the occurrence of ocular complications. Although ocular complications occur rarely, they can be fatal; therefore prevention becomes crucial. However, there are varying opinions among doctors regarding preventive methods, and treatment methods remain uncertain. In this chapter, I will describe the incidence and pathophysiology of ocular complications induced by hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers, as well as the prevention and treatment methods that I propose.
