The main purpose of filler injections is to restore facial volume. Thus, subcutaneous injections are most effective; yet the abundant vasculature in the subcutaneous layer is a key impediment. Therefore, identification of the basic arterial pathway is recommended. In this chapter we will discuss the arteries of the face and other basic facial anatomical structures.
