Herbal Infusions: Weaving Nature’s Pharmacy into Textiles

This chapter focuses on using different plant-based extracts and infusing them with textile substrate which in turn can be used for various medical applications besides antimicrobial effect especially in assisting wound healing either directly or indirectly, leading to a sustainable future. The chapter deliberates on methods of extracting medicinal compounds from plants that can assist the healing process either directly or indirectly, methods and techniques used for integrating the extracts into the textile material for durability and efficacy.
